For When the Guests Arrive

A single outdoorsman wants to have his family over to his brand new home and offer some extra sleeping arrangements for his guests. It is also a place for the client to enjoy some reading time in the perfect outdoor scene in this mural. It’s peaceful!

The client also wanted to use this space as his home office in the future.

Take a look at what we decided for the “Office Cure” in this room.

Room with a View

Office Cure

This outdoorsman needs a place to study and complete his work. While this office/den is long and narrow, the space is tight to add an executive desk with windows on one end and the closet and entrance on the other end.

We needed to keep in mind for Feng Shui purposes to try to keep the desk in the command position doesn’t always work. We moved the desk to the entry wall and added a full-length mirror on the wall in front of the guitar to show the entry door. The client can see the entry door through the full-length mirror and can enjoy the view of the scenery in the mural.

The client is thrilled with his new space and enjoys many hours in his room with a view.

Wrought Iron

Kitchen

A fun, energetic client would like an Industrial Modern space to call her home. The look we want is both modern and rustic. We will need to keep the backsplash, as it is a recent installation. The kitchen layout is the same footprint while adding a wine cooler, entertainment bar cupboard, and some custom shelving along the long wall to unify the look.

We added new door fronts painted Benjamin Moore’s “Wrought Iron” colour.

The peninsula counter was extended with a new marble quartz countertop, making this space perfect for entertaining guests and having dinner parties. We added some rustic shelving to bring the look together.

The Solarium Solution

Galley Kitchen

I love this condominium apartment! The mirror wall in the dining room extending to the solarium opens this space even more. The terrace that you see outside of these full window walls extends to the condo’s full length, which is right in the heart of downtown Toronto. It’s a dream for anyone living in this big city.

The clients love traditional decor while appreciating modern style. We decided on a simple shaker-style cabinet door front painted Benjamin Moore’s “Gray Tint” and added an Ikea pantry. The solarium is used for planting and preparing the terraced vegetable and herbal garden right outside their door. We want to keep this area clean and green and just enjoy the scenery while working on their hobby of gardening!

The Solarium Solution

The Condo

The best part of this space is the new fireplace in the living room area making this beautiful cozy place exciting to be in. The open dining room that extends through the living room and into the solarium and out the full window wall to the terrace is stunning!

Keeping it clean, clutter-free, and green is this condo’s “Solarium Solution!”
